Vocal Production

Vocal Production That Makes the Voice the Song

All-human vocal production: comping, tuning, timing, compression, EQ, de-essing, saturation, harmonies, and effects. Release-ready vocals from $49.

From raw takes to a finished vocal

Vocal production is everything between the recording and the mix. We edit the performance, correct it, then shape its tone and space so the voice sits forward, wide, and clear against your instrumental — the difference between a demo vocal and a released one.

  • Comping and timing alignment of lead, doubles, and ad-libs
  • Hand-done pitch correction in Melodyne and Auto-Tune
  • Cleanup: breaths, mouth noise, plosives, room rumble
  • Compression and EQ staged for density without harshness
  • De-essing and dynamic control on sibilance
  • Saturation and colour for weight and presence

Textures, harmonies, and depth

Beyond correction, we build the vocal arrangement: harmony stacks derived from your own lead, whispered and octave layers, reverse swells, throws, and dub delays. Reverb and delay are used as arrangement tools, not as a wash — each layer has its own space so the chorus opens up instead of blurring.

The studio toolkit

We work with Melodyne, Auto-Tune, iZotope RX, FabFilter, Oeksound, Acustica Audio, Weiss, Universal Audio, McDSP, Metric Halo, and Valhalla DSP. Tools matter less than judgement, but the right one saves the take instead of masking it.

Working with us remotely

Everything runs online. Choose a package, upload your files or share a link, describe your reference sound, and receive processed and dry stems within 48–72 hours, with a revision round included.

Frequently asked questions

What does vocal production include?

Comping, tuning, timing alignment, cleanup, then processing: compression, EQ, de-essing, saturation, and effects such as delay and reverb, plus optional textures and harmonies built from your own voice.

Is this the same as mixing?

Vocal production covers everything that happens to the vocal itself, delivered as a finished, processed vocal bus that sits correctly against your instrumental. Full-song mixing of every instrument is quoted separately.

Can you create harmonies from my lead vocal?

Yes. Our textures and harmonies add-on builds backing vocals, stacks, and atmospheric layers out of your existing lead, using pitch shifting, doubling, and creative effects.

What do you deliver?

Processed vocal stems plus a dry, edited version so you or your mix engineer can keep working. Files come as 24-bit WAV at your session sample rate.

How much does vocal production cost?

Single tracks start at $49, 2–3 tracks at $99, 4–6 tracks at $149, and full projects of up to 15 tracks at $299, with add-ons for comping and for textures and harmonies.
