Vocal Tuning & Pitch Correction, Done by Hand

Professional vocal tuning and pitch correction by hand in Melodyne and Auto-Tune. Natural, musical results delivered in 48–72 hours, from $49 per track.

What vocal tuning actually involves

Vocal tuning is note-by-note pitch correction of a recorded performance. Instead of dragging a plugin across the whole track, we open every phrase in Melodyne, correct pitch centre and drift, and shape the transitions between notes so the performance sounds intentional rather than processed.

  • Pitch centre correction on every note, phrase by phrase
  • Drift and sustain control so long notes stay steady
  • Vibrato preserved or reshaped to taste
  • Scoops, slides, and runs kept musical
  • Formant and character checks so the voice never sounds thin

Melodyne, Auto-Tune, or both

Melodyne handles surgical, transparent correction and is our default for singer-songwriter, pop, R&B, and rock performances. Auto-Tune is used when the genre asks for a hard, locked-to-grid sound, common in modern rap and hyperpop. Many tracks use both: Melodyne to fix the performance, Auto-Tune for stylistic colour on top.

How the process works

Pick a package, upload your takes, and tell us the reference sound you want. We tune, check against the instrumental, and deliver tuned WAV stems ready for mixing, along with the Melodyne session notes if you need them.

  • 1. Choose a package and upload WAV/AIFF takes or a file-sharing link
  • 2. Add notes about style, reference tracks, and how natural you want it
  • 3. Receive tuned stems in 48–72 hours
  • 4. One revision round included on every order

Who this is for

Independent artists, producers, songwriters, and studios who need release-ready vocals without spending a day inside an editor. If you record fast and want the performance to keep its emotion, hand tuning is the difference between a fixed vocal and a finished one.

Frequently asked questions

What files should I send for vocal tuning?

Send your raw vocal takes as WAV or AIFF (24-bit is ideal) at the session sample rate, plus a rough instrumental or mix reference. You can upload them directly on the pricing cards or share a Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer link.

How fast is the turnaround?

Most vocal tuning and pitch correction jobs are delivered in 48–72 hours. Larger projects are scheduled after we confirm the track count with you.

Do you use Auto-Tune or Melodyne?

Both, chosen per performance. Melodyne is used for detailed, note-by-note correction that keeps the natural character of the take; Auto-Tune is used when the style calls for a tighter, more modern effect.

Will my vocal still sound natural?

Yes. Every note is corrected by hand rather than left to a preset, so vibrato, slides, and emotional detail stay intact instead of sounding flat or robotic.

How much does vocal tuning cost?

Pricing starts at $49 for a single track, $99 for 2–3 tracks, and $149 for 4–6 tracks, with add-ons for comping and harmonies.
